What’s included in a bourbon tour package?
Every bourbon tour package includes round-trip transportation from downtown Louisville in one of our Mercedes-Benz vehicles, a professional driver who knows every distillery and back road in the state, and a comfortable ride for your entire group. Distillery admission fees, tastings, and food are not included in the package price and are paid separately on-site at each stop.
What is the difference between the Eastern Corridor and Southern Corridor?
The Eastern Corridor covers distilleries in the Frankfort, Shelbyville, and Lexington area, including Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Castle & Key, and Four Roses. The Southern Corridor covers the Bardstown area, including Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Heaven Hill, Willett, and Bardstown Bourbon Company. When you choose a tour package, you’re selecting which corridor you want to explore.
How long does a bourbon tour take?
A Two Distillery Run is approximately 6 hours. A Three Distillery Run takes around 8 hours. The Bourbon Voyage, our flagship experience, gives you a full 10 hours to explore a custom route of your choice anywhere in Kentucky. All times include round-trip drive time from downtown Louisville.
Can I choose which distilleries we visit?
On the Two and Three Distillery Run packages, your stops are along the corridor you select (Eastern or Southern). On The Bourbon Voyage, you have complete control. Pick any distilleries in Kentucky and we’ll build the route for you.
Do I need to make distillery reservations separately?
Yes. Most Kentucky distilleries require advance reservations for tours and tastings. We recommend booking your distillery visits as soon as you confirm your transportation. Your driver can help guide you to the right experiences, but reservations are the responsibility of your group.
What happens if our tour goes longer than expected?
We understand that a great bourbon day can run long. If you exceed your package time by more than 30 minutes, additional hours are billed at $100/hr for 1-6 passengers or $150/hr for 7-12 passengers. Your driver will keep you informed so there are no surprises.
Vehicles and Group Size
What vehicles do you use?
We operate two newer model Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Our Mercedes-Benz Metris accommodates up to 6 passengers with reclining seats, USB ports, and a TV for longer trips. Our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van accommodates up to 12 passengers with comfortable cushioned seating, USB ports, and a TV. Both vehicles are fully insured, climate controlled, and meticulously maintained.
What if my group is larger than 12 people?
For groups larger than 12, we can coordinate multiple vehicles to travel together. Contact us for a custom quote and we’ll put together a plan that keeps your entire group on the same schedule.
Can a small group book the Sprinter Van?
Absolutely. The 1-12 passenger pricing applies to the Sprinter Van regardless of how many people are in your group. If four people prefer the extra space of the Sprinter, you’re welcome to book it at the 1-12 passenger rate.
Pricing and Payments
Are your prices per person or per vehicle?
All bourbon tour package prices are flat-rate for the vehicle, not per person. Whether your group is 2 people or 12, the price stays the same for your selected vehicle.
How does the deposit work?
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and vehicle. The remaining balance is due before your trip. Airport transportation requires full payment at the time of booking.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure online booking system powered by Square. Payment is processed at the time of booking.
Do you offer discounts for repeat customers?
Yes, we value our returning customers. Contact us directly to ask about repeat customer pricing.
Private Group Transportation
What types of events do you provide transportation for?
We provide private group transportation for just about any occasion, including weddings, corporate events, bachelor and bachelorette parties, sports outings, conventions, church groups, family reunions, and festival transportation for events like Bourbon & Beyond, Louder Than Life, and Railbird.
How does hourly private transportation pricing work?
Private transportation is billed at $100/hr for 1-6 passengers in the Mercedes Metris or $150/hr for 1-12 passengers in the Sprinter Van. You choose the number of hours you need, tell us your pickup location and destination, and we handle the rest. Book your hours directly or request a custom quote.
Is there a minimum booking for private transportation?
Yes. The minimum booking is 2 hours for the Metris (1-6 passengers) and 3 hours for the Sprinter (1-12 passengers).
Can I book private transportation outside of Louisville?
Yes. We serve the entire Kentuckiana region. If your pickup is outside the Louisville metro area, just note your location when booking and we’ll factor in the travel time.
Airport Transfers
Which airports do you serve?
We provide airport transfer service to and from Louisville (SDF), Cincinnati (CVG), Lexington (LEX), and Nashville (BNA). Whether you’re arriving or departing, we’ll get your group to the airport on time.
Do you track flight arrivals?
Yes. Provide your flight number when you book and we’ll monitor your arrival time. If your flight is delayed, we adjust accordingly so you’re not waiting or rushing.
How is airport transportation priced?
Airport transfers are flat-rate based on destination. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Request a quote with your airport, date, and group size for exact pricing.
Booking and Logistics
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak seasons like Kentucky Derby week, Bourbon & Beyond, and Louder Than Life weekends. Popular dates can fill up weeks in advance. For standard bookings, at least one week’s notice is ideal.
What is your cancellation policy?
Terms and conditions are provided at the time of booking. Review them carefully when you complete your reservation through our scheduling system.
Where is the standard pickup location?
Most bourbon tours and private transportation trips depart from downtown Louisville. If you need pickup from a different location, note it when you book. Pickups outside the Louisville metro area may require additional travel time.
Can I book transportation past midnight?
Yes. If you need late-night transportation, leave a note when booking and we’ll confirm availability for your requested time.
